SPECIAL NOTE: OUR APRIL 8TH PPAGKC MEETING HAS BEEN MOVED TO APRIL 15TH... Due to the Lunar Eclipse on Monday, April 8th our April 8th, our PPAGKC meeting has been moved to April 15, 5:30 pm social hour, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm general meeting.

The upcoming PPAGKC meeting on April 15th at h&h Color Lab is sure to be an exciting and educational event. This change of date allows for an even more special guest speaker to join us - Larry and Robin Petree. These two water gardening experts have been making a splash in the Kansas City area with their unique approach to creating a beautiful aquatic garden.

Larry and Robin's journey into the world of water gardening began three years ago in 2021 when they decided to dig a large hole in their backyard. Many may wonder why they would do such a thing, but the answer will be revealed at the meeting. This will be a SPECIAL three-part program, with the first part taking place on April 15th at h&h Color Lab. The second and third parts will be held on June 23, 2024, and Sunday, August 11, 2024, at their home, with the exact times to be announced. Attendees have the option to attend all three lectures for one price or choose the ones that interest them the most. The three-part format allows for a comprehensive understanding of the growing season and how it affects water gardens. As the summer progresses, so will our knowledge and interest in this beautiful hobby and outdoor camera room.

Aside from the educational aspect, this meeting also presents a fantastic opportunity for networking. Water garden enthusiasts from all over the Kansas City area will be invited to attend, making it the perfect chance to connect and share tips and tricks for maintaining these stunning gardens.

Members will have the opportunity to learn more about the photography industry and how it intersects with the world of water gardening. The Petrees will also be incorporating their photographic opportunities into their presentation, showcasing the diverse wildlife that can be attracted to a water garden and how it can make for a unique and stunning background for portraits.

Overall, the April 15th meeting at h&h Color Lab is not one to be missed. It promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience, where members will have the chance to learn from experts in both water gardening and photography.
